Yulander Howard White, 71, departed this life March 15, 2022. She was born June 16, 1951 in Thomasville to the late Murray Howard and Carrie Mae Howard. She attended school in Thomasville and relocated to Atlanta, Ga. in 1986, where she worked as a photo finisher for Wolf Camera and Video. She had a major accident which forced her into retirement in the early 90s.

Yulander accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and became a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where she served gracefully until her health started to decline.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Issac James White; brothers, Frank Carter Jr., Percy Lee Carter and Alfred Stubbs Jr.; sisters, Besse Howard, Earlean Champion and Mattie Striet; stepson, Terry Lee Dixon and one grandson, Ricky Lee Upshaw.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, James White, Janis (Rodney) White-Watts, Anthony White and Walter White, all of Atlanta, Ga., Rhonda White of Austell, Ga., Angela (Isaac) Stephens of Lithia Springs, Ga., and Jennifred (Sidney) Price of Covington, Ga; stepson, Lee Martin (Dorothy) Champion of Lake Wales, Fla; sisters, Gertrude McKinnis, Liddie Ann Dixon, Ida Jackson, Ruby Bridges, Harriett Robinson and Mary Todd, all of Alabama, Mary West of New York, Willie Irene Stubbs, Margaret John and Bobbie Howard, all of Georgia; brothers, Caesar (Alfredetta) Howard and David Stubbs, both of Alabama; 16 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren, two greatgreat grandchildren; with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were March 26, at 1 p.m., at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Georgia, with Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home directing.
