The Walker Springs school alumni had a two-day get together this past weekend to celebrate their years in school in the tiny community. The reunion was held at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Walker Springs. Among those attending were, first row (L to R): Doris Anderson Manning, Jeanette Gates Harville, Marguerite Coleman Davis, Billy Griffin, James Griffin, Edwina Anderson Foster and Ann McLean Howell. Second row (L to R): John Waddill, Daneen Stitcher Shipley, Elizabeth Peavy Walker, Kitty McLean Pugh, Mary Martin Peavy Rice, Rose Ann Waddill Smith, Darlene Waddill Smith, Nancy Anderson Tarver, Maxine Weaver Armistead and Judy Anderson Busby.
