Police vehicle in wreck at 43/Stanley Dr.

A wreck at Highway 43 and Stanley Drive last Wednesday afternoon involved a Jackson Police Department pickup. Officer Jason Thomas was the driver and collided with a vehicle driven by an individual whose name was not immediately available. Thomas was responding to a call. No one was seriously hurt. Traffic at the intersection may have been more congested than normal because of the recent opening of Taco Bell on the southwest corner of the intersection. Only the drive-through is open and customers were lining up on Stanely Drive to access the new restaurant.
