Michael Craig Wilson, age 69, of Thomasville, died Feb. 3, 2022 at Bibb Medical Center. He was born Oct. 26, 1952 in Shreveport, La. to O C Wilson Jr. and Eleanor Marie Wilson.
Michael was the owner of Airmasters for 46 years. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Oliver Lodge No. 334 F & AM, the Scottish Rite, the Thomasville Volunteer Fire Department, and was the founder of Nothin’ New Car Club. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as gunner’s mate.
Michael is survived by his wife, Deborah B. Wilson; two sons, Michael P. “Clip” Wilson and Tommy Wilson; daughter, Tina Kennedy; three sisters, Brenda Teller, Janice Moody and Elisa Ingram; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Wilson, Brittany Wilson Hutto, Claudia Cathryn Wilson, Holston Kennedy, Tristan Wilson, Taylor Wilson and Paxton Kennedy; and great-grandchild, Kadence Taylor Hutto.
Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Fred Funchess, the Rev. John Gibson and Dr. Steve Trader officiating. Burial followed at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Holston Kennedy, Tristan Wilson, Jason Smith, Shawn Horace, Jamie Agee, Sawyer Pugh and Paxton Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers included members of Oliver Lodge No. 334 F&AM, Toby and Treasa Knight, Larry Parden, Ronald Fendley and James Chaney.
