Mary Faye Stewart Beech, 72 years of age, departed this life on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at USA Medical Center in Mobile. Mary Faye was born Dec. 18, 1949 to the late Robert Stewart and Mary Lou Stewart. She graduated from Leroy High School in 1969.
With a “gift” for helping others and giving to those in need, this “gift” was one of the reasons she loved house cleaning. Over the years, Mary Faye touched countless friends and companions while tending to their homes. She was a humble, one-of-a-kind person with a big heart.
Mary Faye believed it was important for her children to know God. She always strived to share God’s love with those around her.
Her favorite pastime was drinking coffee with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Jaclyn (David) Klopf, Jennifer (Wayne) Roney and Joy Beech Bonner; brothers, James (June) Stewart and Robert Leroy (Frances) Stewart; sisters, Sue (Grady) Ketchum and Louise Grimes; grandchildren, Eric Klopf, Drew Klopf, Paton Klopf, Dawson Hyde, Avery Roney, Savana Bonner and Brianna Bonner; great-grandchild, Aniyah Carter; with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James Bueal Beech; the father of her children, Frank Beech; an infant brother, James Robert Stewart; and brother-in-law, Bully Grimes.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at First United Methodist Church Cemetery of St. Stephens. Officiating was Bro. Bob Younge, with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
Honorary pallbearers were Neal Grimes, Josh Johnson, Jimmy Stewart and Jeremy Grimes.
