The Jackson High School Aggies has participated in two basketball play dates so far in June.

They played two games on Tuesday, June 6. The Aggies lost to Spanish Fort High School by almost 20 points, but defeated McGill-Toolen High School 52-47 with Micah Caster scoring 42 points.

“I thought we played really well in the second game. We just could not get anything going in the first game. This was our first play date this summer and we are still figuring out the best line-up. We haven’t had many practices this summer with football workouts and other activities going on. I did see some good things out there. Micah Caster really stepped up and played well. I’m looking forward to seeing what this team can do this coming school year. This group was outstanding as a junior varsity team and I’m excited to see what they can do as a varsity team,” said Head Basketball Coach Chris Moore.

Jackson played in the Robertsdale High School Summer Team Camp on Monday, June 12 and won two out of the three games. Jackson defeated Theodore 38-35, lost to Murphy at the buzzer 36-34 and defeated Hillcrest-Evergreen High School 49-33.
