The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its annual Spring Clean-Up. The anti-litter campaign will take place April 23. This is a great way to begin the new season by picking up litter in public spaces in Jackson.

This cleanup provides a way for citizens and business owners to become involved in the city of Jackson and gain personal pride in their community. You may come by the chamber office from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. through Friday, April 22 to register your business or organization. Saturday, April 23 at 8 a.m. the cleanup will begin.

After registration, chamber staff will make sure you receive the appropriate number of garbage bags, gloves and trash grabbers, as well as mark your collection area on the map. Materials available only while supplies last, so timely registration is encouraged.

Chamber Director Katie Soderquist asks that once your group has finished, snap a picture to show how much litter was collected and share it to the chamber’s Facebook page.
