GriefShare to begins New Faith
GriefShare, a support group for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, is meeting at New Faith Baptist Church on Hwy. 84 in Coffeeville. The 13-week program will be every Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no cost to participants.
The class teaches a Christian, Bible-based approach to coping with the emotional issues that often arise after the loss of a family member or friend. While sharing personal experiences is completely voluntary, participants are encouraged to complete exercises in the workbook.

Homecoming planned Union Baptist No. 2
The annual homecoming service at the Union Baptist Church No. 2 in Coffeeville will be Sunday, Aug. 4, at 12-noon. Guest speaker will be Bishop Theodore Law, pastor of Full Gospel Apostolic Church of God in St. Stephens.
Church of Christ hosting Summer Feeding Program
The Church of Christ in Coffeeville will be hosting the Summer Feeding Program through Aug. 2, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be free breakfast and lunch, fun activities and basic skills enrichment for the youth of Coffeeville and the surrounding areas.
Church of Christ is located on Highway 84 in Coffeeville.
Amazing Grace announces revival
All are invited to join Amazing Grace Deliverance Church in Thomasville at their annual revival continuing through Aug. 2, at 7 nightly. Revival speakers include Elder Georgia N. Jackson, pastor of Amazing Grace Deliverance Church and the Rev. Dr. Mishella Williams, ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Ga.

Youth / VOP Revival announced at Jackson AOH COG
The Jackson AOH Church of God welcomes all to its annual Youth and VOP Revival, Aug. 7-11. The theme of this event is “Magnify the Lord.” Ps. 34
All are invited to attend and worship and glorify the Lord with the faith congregation.
There will be different speakers bringing the message. On Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 7 and 8, 7 p.m., Elder Robert Bonner of Higher Heights Church of God in Monroeville will speak; Friday, Aug. 9, 7 p.m., Elder Reginald Middleton of Anointed Temple AOH in Gulfport, Miss., will bring the message. Finally, events will climax on Sunday, Aug. 11, 3:30 p.m., with Elder Middleton as speaker.

Unity Through the Community will be the theme on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m., at New St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
