Carolyn Faye Jones Pringle

Carolyn Faye Jones Pringle, 81, of Jackson, passed away on Feb. 28, 2023. Born on March 26, 1941 in Jackson to Earl Jones and Eldred Bryant Jones, she was the oldest of nine children. Faye was a 1959 graduate of Jackson High School. On Aug. 14, 1959 she married her high school sweetheart, Fred, and they enjoyed 63 happy years together.

Faye was a wonderful homemaker and spent many hours cooking, caring for her family and enjoying time outdoors. She loved fishing, walking with friends and reading on her front porch. Faye’s favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She was an active member of Rockville Baptist Church and was a 26-year employee of Jackson Bank and Trust.

Faye is survived by her husband, Fred E. Pringle Sr.; her son, Fred E. (Kara) Pringle Jr.; grandchildren, Josh (Samantha) Pringle, Bailey (Gavin) Sheffield, Ivy (Crayton) Motes and Ellie Bethea; six greatgrandchildren; eight siblings, Reba Overstreet, Margie (Bonnie Ray) Overstreet, Sherri Krout, Johnnie (Brenda) Jones, Wayne (Merlyn) Jones, Deanna (Ronnie) Overstreet, Karen (Leo) Anderson and Larry (Penny) Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Bro. Mark Dunn officiated, with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers were Josh Pringle, Bennie Pringle, Keith Overstreet, Paul Roberts, Terry Reed, Jarad Jones, Crayton Motes and Gavin Sheffield.
