Jackson Rescue Squad hosting Haunted House
The Jackson Rescue Squad is hosting a Haunted House Friday and Saturday, Oct. 29 and 30, started at 6 each evening.
There will be games, a bake sale, candy and other concessions.
The Rescue Squad is located at 1324 Forest Avenue.
Admission is $5.
Fall Festival set; Christmas events also in the works!
While plans for the annual Fall Festival are in place for Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 until 4 in downtown Jackson, the chamber of commerce is also busy preparing for the Christmas season.
Participating local merchants will host a Christmas Open House Sunday afternoon, Nov. 14.
The traditional lighting of the Christmas Tree and Market will be Thursday, Dec. 2 from 5 until 8.
The Christmas Parade will be Friday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m. with a lighted parade along College Avenue and Commerce Street. There is a $25 fee to enter a float.
