Arrest made in thefts from Scotch Land Management in Fulton



One man was arrested and others are expected in connection with a theft in Fulton.

Robert Jarrell Bettis was arrested and booked in the county jail for three counts of Theft 1st, and two counts of Theft 2nd.

Someone broke into the Scotch Land Management shop in Fulton and stole a 2006 Ford F-250 white in color, two Honda 4-wheelers and two utility trailers on May 28.

The Clarke County Sheriff’s Department CID Unit has been working on this case and on June 12, 2019 evidence was located that led the investigators to one subject that is responsible for the thefts.

More arrests are expected later. If anyone has any information on the stolen items listed please contact the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department.
