Ms. Angela Lavell Dickinson, age 53, a native and resident of Grove Hill, was born Nov. 30, 1967 to the parentage of the late Mr. George Dickinson and the late Mrs. Viola Lattimore Dickinson. She departed this life Aug. 31, 2021 at her home.

Ms. Dickinson, affectionately known as “Angie” was a member of Orange Hill Baptist Church in Grove Hill. She was a 1986 graduate of Clarke County High School. She furthered her studies and became a licensed CNA.

Angie was very creative; she enjoyed coloring apps, writing in her journal, and collecting candles. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her four grandsons, who she loved and adored very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Yolanda Ezell Jackson.

She will be forever loved and cherished in the hearts of her fiancé, Gary Hill of Grove Hill; three children, Jommorah Dickinson, Marcee Hill, and Shardai Dickinson, all of Grove Hill; one brother, George (LaTonya) Dickinson of Grove Hill; one sister, Angela Carstarphen of Thomasville; her four grandchildren. De’Kamron McFadden, Reginald Hunter Jr., Jordan Dickinson, and Kendrid Pugh Jr., all of Grove Hill; four nephews, Joshua Johnson, Andre Ruffin, Marcus Woods, Jameyon Dickinson; four nieces, Jessica Johnson, Keondra Carstarphen, Andrea

Ruffin, Kadaja Ruffin; two cousins, Marlon McMillan and Sadie Dickinson; mother-in-law, Verona Hill of Grove Hill; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, 3pm until 6pm at Andrews Funeral Home Chapel “A”. Viewing Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, 10:30 a.m. until 10:45am at Orange Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Grove Hill, AL; the graveside service will begin at 11am with Rev. Sanders as Eulogist. Facial mask and social distancing is required at all observances.
