Amanda Sharee Holley Dungan, 35, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born on Thursday, June 19, 1986 in Mobile. She was employed with The ARC of Clarke County and a member of River Hill Baptist Church in Jackson. Amanda was known for her loving spirit and forgiving heart and “gave a hug that lasted all day.” A devoted, “fun” mother, she enjoyed spending time with her children, her family and friends more than anything. She also enjoyed good food and going to the beach.

Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joyce and Floyd Holley and maternal grandparents, Patti and Forrest Clark.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Vince (Yvonne) Holley, Teresa (Darren) Burgette and Cyndy “Mom” Dungan; children, Bronwen Dungan, Blaine Dungan and Jesse Floyd Dungan; her children’s father, Paul Dungan; brothers, Allen (Keri) Ferrell and Michael Ferrell; aunt, Cindy Alexander; with numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, with the Rev. Brian Dukes officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dungan, Tommy Dungan, Allen Ferrell, Michael Ferrell, Vince Holley and Caleb McDuff.
