Summer fun at the pool

Summer officially started June 20. Temperatures are creeping up and a fun way to cool off is to go to one of Jackson’s pools, the Pearce Memorial Park Pool and the Municipal Pool on Highway 178. The Pearce Memorial Park Pool is filled with inflatables that add to the fun.

The Washington County Probate Office recently had an unexpected windfall in revenue — more than $230,000 in mortgage recording fees.
