A second recount in two weeks in Clarke County reaffirmed a Nov. 6 election—Summer Scruggs won the circuit clerk’s race over Berneta Stallworth. The recount gave Scruggs, the Republican candidate, 6,901 votes to Democrat Stallworth’s 6,832—a difference of 69 votes or a 50.17 percent victory for Scruggs. 21-month federal sentence for distributing crack cocaine



Erlicia Danielle West, 24, of Jackson was sentenced Nov. 30 in federal court in Mobile to 21 months imprisonment for her distribution of crack cocaine. West pled guilty to the charge on Aug. 10, 2012, before Hon. Kristi K. Dubose.
