Wild Turkey Federation banquet planned



The Clarke County chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will conduct its annual Hunting Heritage Banquet Feb. 26, at the Grove Hill National Guard Armory. Giles kills 8-point



Taylor Giles, 12, of Millry killed this 8-point while hunting with family friend, Mitchell Beasley. Taylor is the son of Rene’ and Barry Giles.

Howell bags 9-point



Andrew Howell, 16, recently killed this 9-point in Dickinson. He shot the buck with a 7mm-08 rifle. The deer weighed 185 pounds and had a 18-inch spread. Andrew is the son of Tonya Howell and Ricky Howell.

Sibling team kills buck



David Hughston, 20, (right) and little sister Mallory, 13, teamed up Jan. 22 to kill this 8-point buck while hunting in the Jackson area. They are the children of Sarah and Jeff Hughston of Jackson.
