Jim Alton Wiggins, age 75, passed away July 22, 2012 at his Grove Hill residence. He was born Oct. 12, 1936 in Coffeeville.

Mr. Wiggins retired from the profession of commercial startup and troubleshooting on refrigeration units with Frick. He was a charter member of Tompkins Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Jeffrey Wiggins of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Geery of Peoria, Ariz. and Jill (Phillip) Smith of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, French (Norman) Downey of Grove Hill; 10 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Funeral services were July 25 at the Tompkins Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Kendrick officiating. A personal message will be shared by Ken Buck. Interment was in the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill.

Pallbearers were Don Wright, Dixon Greer, Gray Milstead, Melton DuBose, Ray Sheffield and Billy Wiggins. Honorary pallbearers included Ken Buck, Don Squires, David Downey, Ward Edge, Jimmy Dowling, Jerry Clark, Ray Barnes and Chester Roberts.
