Clay A. Young

Clay A. Young, age 46, a resident of Whatley, passed away May 12, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Young was a construction worker and a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church in Whatley.

Survivors include his wife, Francis Young of Whatley; two daughters, Veronica (Larvirshaun) Jackson of Mobile and Victoria Young of Monroeville; three sisters, Cora Young, Ida Mobley and Liza (Jimmy) Snell, all of Whatley; three brothers, the Rev. Willie (Laura) Young, Henry Young and Evangelist

Charles Young, all of Whatley; one brother-inlaw, Sam Fails of Grove Hill; one uncle, Floyd Lynum of Mobile; aunt, Rosie Harris of Whatley; devoted nephew, Kelcey Marbley; devoted friends, Adrian, Noland, Michael, Pat Jr. and Elisha; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 19, with viewing from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11, at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby England officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris/ Cleveland Cemetery in Whatley with Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson directing.
