Derrell T. Jones, age 80, passed away April 1, 2012 at his Jackson residence. He was a native of Alberta.

Mr. Jones was a retired electrician with Boise. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Military Order of Stars and Bars, National Rifle Association, American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the United States Air Force, Navy and Army.

Survivors include his wife, Burma Barnett Jones of Jackson; one daughter, Jean Jones Etheridge of Jackson; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Don Jones.
