Isabella Batley Walker, age 87, passed away Nov. 20, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary. Born Dec. 7, 1923, Mrs. Walker was a native of Frankville and a resident of Jackson. She was a retired hand operator with Vanity Fair Mills and was a member of Jackson Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon Phillips of Jackson and Betsy (Paul) Gorum of Mobile; one sister, F.L. “Lorene” Thompson of Stapleton; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Jackson Church of the Nazarene. Interment followed in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.

Pallbearers were Norman Brown, Devin Roberts, Jason Bjelke, Wayne Phillips, Paul Gorum and John M. Schultz. Honorary pallbearers were Butch Perkins, Norman Thompson Jr., Wayde Thompson, Larry Moore, David Walker and Tracy Hall
