Jerry Donald “JD” Few died Oct. 29, 2011 in Houston, Texas at 90 years of age. Mr. Few was a native of the Evergreen community in Jackson and a resident of Houston. He was an electrician and also worked in shipping.
A graveside service with military honors was Nov. 4 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Howard Gaston officiating and St. Stephens Funeral Home of St. Stephens directing.
Survivors include one daughter, Mae Corder of Houston; two brothers, Jessie Few and Howard (Joyce) Few, both of Jackson; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
