Beverly Stuart Vincent, born June 22, 1941 passed away Oct. 25, 2011, after a short illness. She grew up in Pine Apple.

A graduate of Howard College (Sanford University), she had retired from the Shelby County School System, where she taught for many years. She was a beloved member of the Shalom Sunday School Class at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her father, Winston L. Stuart Sr., and her brother, Winston L. Stuart Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Henry G. Vincent of Vestavia Hills; son, Craig Vincent of Hoover; two grandchildren, Dara Vincent and Logan Vincent, both of Hoover; her mother, Jessie McCorquodale Stuart of Marianna, Fla.; and sister-inlaw, Gina Stuart, nieces, Laura Ward and Elizabeth West, and four great-nieces, all of Marianna.

Funeral services were Oct. 28 at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church with the Dr. Gary Furr officiating. Interment followed at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, under the direction of Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover.
