Vernon F. Templet was born Feb. 6, 1924 in Donaldsonville, La., and passed away Oct. 2, 2011 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Mr. Templet was a resident of Baton Rouge, La.

His wife, Sarah D. Templet, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Gary) Irby of Jackson and Lynette (Sonny) Costanza of Amite, La.; one son, Timothy V. (Tammy) Templet of Slaughter, La.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are today, Thursday, Oct. 6, at St. Isadore Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, La. Interment is in Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge, under the direction of Greenoaks Funeral Home.
