Retha Deloris Campbell, age 72, was born on Nov. 9, 1938 and passed away Aug. 30, 2011 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Campbell was a native and resident of Grove Hill. She was a machine operator with Crown Industrial and a member of the Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill.
Survivors include her son, Charles Wayne Campbell of Dothan; one daughter, Karen Lee Campbell of Grove Hill; brothers, Percy Clarke and Murphy Clarke, both of Grove Hill; and sisters, Margie Monroe of San Jose, Calif., Myrtie Morgan of Kannapolis, N.C., Emma Jean Harvell, Eloise Wilson and Catherine Harrell, all of Grove Hill.
Funeral services were Sept. 1 at the Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill with the Revs. Carey Howard and Percy Clarke officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home of Grove Hill.
Pallbearers were Ricky Harrell, Tank Wilson, Chris Clarke, Dwight Wiggins, Danny Wilson and Gary Wilson.
