Ruby C. Brooks was born on July 9, 1921 and passed away Aug. 2, 2011 at her residence. She was 90 years of age at the time of her death.
A native of Campbell and a resident of Jackson, Mrs. Brooks retired from Solomon Brothers Shirt Factory and was a member of Center Point Baptist Church and RSVP.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruby King, Margaret Louise Atchison and Joy Edwards, all of Jackson; one brother, Herbert Faile of Campbell; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Aug. 5 at Center Point Baptist Church in Coffeeville with the Revs. William Allison and David Webb officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.
Pallbearers were Gary Bradley, Gavin Bradley, Brandon Bradley, Tyler Bradley, Payton Metts, Sloan Owens, Skyler Busby, Cole Bradley and Gunter Bradley. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Center Point Baptist Church.
