James Aubrey Kelly, 92, a native of Mobile County and resident of Jackson, died Jan. 1, 2011 in a local hospital. He was a very active member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Wagarville, having served as a trustee, Sunday School superintendent and many other church offices. Mr. Kelly was a retired planer machinist with McCorquodale Brothers Lumber and as a shipping foreman with Jackson Sawmill Co.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Johnnie Louise Wheat Kelly of Jackson and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were Jan. 3 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church followed by interment in the church cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson.
