Harlin Eugene Curry
Harlin Eugene Curry died at Jackson Medical Center on Dec. 16, 2010, at the 70 years of age. A native and resident of Frankville, he worked as a truck driver for a logging business. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers and equipment, while enjoying the companionship of friends enjoying the same. He also loved motorcycles and owned several over the years.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Curry of Frankville; one brother, Johnny B. (Darlene) Curry Jr. of Chatom; and four sisters, Mary (Neal) Bradley of Jackson, Pat (Ray) Savage of Wagarville, Debbie (Albert) Elmore of Frankville and Joanne Williams of Silas.
His parents, John Boyd Curry Sr. and Kathleen H. Curry, and sister, Christine Smith, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were Dec. 18 at New Hope Methodist Church in Frankville with Bros. Jimmie Butts and Billy Harris officiating. Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of St. Stephens Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Clint Elmore, Ashley Elmore, Brent Elmore, Anthony Williams, Russ Bradley, Johnny Ray Curry and Michael Adams. Honorary pallbearers included Deloris Turner, Jerry Earl Johnson, Worth Schultz, Joe Goldman and Leon Harris.
