Kenneth Earl Singleton
Kenneth Earl Singleton, 58, died Sept. 8, 2010 in Brandon, Fla. Mr. Singleton was a native of Yarbo and a resident of Chatom. He was a construction worker installing TV towers for Tower King II. He was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church, Springhill Hunting Club and the Hilltop Fishing Club.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Motichek of Chatom; one son, Jason (Gina) Johnston of Sims Chapel; two daughters, Evie (Tommy) Faucett of Pearl River, La. and Missy (Richie) Johnston of Sims Chapel; five brothers, Raymond Singleton of Sunflower, Harvey Singleton of Mobile, and Judge Charles Singleton, Stanley Singleton and Bobby Singleton, all of Chatom; six sisters, Audrey “Sis” Cooley of Leakesville, Miss., Helen Beverly of Semmes, Maxine Guy of Thomasville, Lou Tomberline of Grand Bay, Judy McIlwain of Silas and Renee’ Thornton of Chickasaw; and seven grandchildren, Nicki Faucett, Devin Faucett, Braxton Johnston, Troy Johnston, Lauren Johnston, Courtney Johnston and Haileigh Johnston.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 11, 6-9 p.m. at Reynolds Church in Chatom. Funeral services will be Sunday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. at Reynolds Church. Interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom.
Pallbearers will be Richie Johnston, Jason Johnston, Tommy Faucett, Scott Dearmon, Andy Reynolds and Eric Woodyard.
