Dot C. Lee

Dot C. Lee, 77, a native of Coffeeville and a resident of Leroy, died Aug. 15, 2010 at her home. A retired elementary school teacher with the Washington County Board of Education, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leroy. She was a co-owner of Destin’s Cottage Collectibles.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Lee of Leroy; daughters, Dorie Lee (Ricky) Powell of Leroy and Sherry Lee (Mark) Wiley of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Destin Powell (Caleb) Crosby of Falls Church, Va., and Andrew Tyler Powell of Mobile; and great-grandchildren, Noah Powell Crosby and Eden Vee Crosby, both of Falls Church.
The funeral service was Aug. 17 at Lathan Funeral Home with the Rev. James Watkins officiating. Interment followed at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers were Caleb Crosby, Larry Dunagan, DeWayne Byrd, Mike Blount Lee Daugherty and Ronnie Daugherty.
Honorary pallbearers included George Woodyard, Wade May, Steve Holland and Bill Reynolds.
