Louis James Ringer, 85, a native of Galveston, Texas and a resident of Jackson, died March 4, 2010 at the Jackson Health Care Facility. Mr. Ringer was an electrician for Union Carbide-Dow Chemical Company. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include one daughter, Teri (Bruce) Bradley of Jackson; and two grandsons, Jeremy Bradley and John Michael Bradley, both of Jackson.

Graveside services were Monday, March 8, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas. Arrangements were directed by Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson.
