Mary Beatrice Williamson, a resident of Whatley, died Nov. 21, 2009 at the Monroe County Hospital. She was 75 years of age. Mrs. Williamson was a homemaker and a member of the Amity Baptist Church in Whatley.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Oscar Hilbert Williamson; sister, Betty Gray; and brother, Jimmy Turner.

Survivors include her son, Stephen (Alma) Williamson of Whatley; four brothers, Willie Turner of Virginia, Gray Turner of Perdido, Jerry Turner of Mobile and Earl Turner of Theodore; two sisters, Mattie Byrd of Bay Minette and Mae Jones of Whatley; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were officiated by the Rev. Percy Clark, Nov. 24, at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Frisco City. Interment was in the Mineola Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.monroechapel. com.
