Claude Melvin Odom, 73, died Sept. 21, 2009 at a local health care facility. He was a native of Eret, Miss. and a resident of Chatom.

He is survived by three daughters, Pam Davidson and Lynn Anderson, both of Chatom, and Alisa Sanderson of Millry; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services were Sept. 23 at Eret Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom.
