Donald Lee Ready

Donald Lee Ready, a native of Waynesboro, Miss. and a resident of Joelton, Tenn., died Oct. 7, 2008 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., at the age of 52. He was a schoolteacher with the Metro School System in Tennessee.

Survivors include his father, Homer Ready of Vinegar Bend; his mother, Orra Bell Ready of Vinegar Bend; a son, Kevin Ready of Jackson; five brothers, Tommy Ready of Kansas, James W. Ready of Wagarville, Norman Clay Ready of Jackson, "Bo" Roney of St. Stephens and Steve Roney of Chatom; three sisters, Charlotte Turner of Calvert, Darlene Coffee of Tibbie and Sandra Williams of Vinegar Bend; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were Oct. 11 in the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Jimmy Butts officiating. Interment was in the Clearwater Cemetery in Wagarville.
