McIntosh routs Georgiana 35-13

The McIntosh Demons improved to 5-1 on the year after cruising to a 35-13 road win against Georgiana.

"It was a good win for us," Demon coach Larry Boykin said. "We have Coffeeville next. It is a game we should win. They are much improved though and they always have speed and talent. Hopefully we can go in and take care of business so we can get our starters out of there early. We need them rested for the big game next week against Sweet Water.

"We are not taking Coffeeville lightly though," Boykin added.

Against Georgiana, Cortez Thomas carried the ball 12 times for 117 yards. He also returned a punt 75 yards to pay dirt.

Buck Thomas added 112 yards on eight carries while tallying eight tackles and three pass break ups on defense.

McIntosh travels to Coffeeville Friday night.
