Goodmans recognized

(Photo submitted)
The Rev. and Mrs. H. Grady Goodman were recognized during the Alabama Senior Citizen Hall of Fame's annual awards ceremony, Sept. 28, at Dalraida Baptist Church in Montgomery, for having been married 65 years or longer. The Goodmans will have been married 68 years this month. They are participants in the Jackson Nutrition Center program and have been providing the Wednesday devotion there for the past 18 years. The Goodmans were nominated for the recognition in March by the center's director Sherry Moseley. Also making the trip to Montgomery were Paul South, who received the Golden Eagle Honorary Award, Louise Ward, Wilma McNeil, Marie Dorman, Loyce Chancey and Moseley.
