WashCo Friends of the NRA host annual banquet
The Washington County Chapter of the Friends of the NRA (National Rifle Association) conducted its annual fund-raising banquet Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Chatom Community Center. Much of the money raised will go to support youth shooting sports programs in the area. The event featured a silent and live auction, as well as games and drawings for door prizes. Dwain and Nan Strickland, of St. Stephens, served as co-hosts of the banquet.
