Wilda Overstreet Blackmon
Wilda Overstreet Blackmon, 74, died July 19, 2008 at her residence in Jackson. A member of the Stave Creek Baptist Church of Jackson, she was a retired seamstress for Vanity Fair Mills.
She is survived by husband, Ollie Blackmon of Jackson; two daughters, Mary Blackmon (Bill) Taylor and Elayne Blackmon Thompson, both of Jackson; one brother, Armond Overstreet of Arizona; two sisters, Grace Overstreet Odom of Jackson and Rose Overstreet Westgate of Diamond Head, Miss.; four grandchildren, Aaron Stewart, Dylon Blackmon, Kristy Blackmon and Noal Aarin Roney; and great-grandchildren, Christian Roney, Aliyah Roney, Nicholas Roney, Jacob Buck and Paige Marcette.
Funeral services were July 21 at the Stave Creek Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements were directed by Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.
