Signs with Alcorn State
 | | Jackson High School softball player Brittanee Crayton (seated, center), this week, signed a full athletic scholarship agreement with Alcorn State University in Mississippi. Present for a special signing ceremony in the JHS library, Tuesday, (front, L-R) were her father, Pete Crayton, Brittanee, her mother, Mattie Crayton, (back, L-R) JHS Athletic Director Jeff Kelly, Principal Ken Harbuck, Assistant Softball Coach Robin Autry, Crayton's brother, Anfernee Crayton and Head Softball Coach Bob Bumpers. Following the signing, Coach Bumpers said, "Four years ago I knew this day was coming. Brittanee is the third Division 1 player we have had sign and the 18th to sign a scholarship since we have had softball at Jackson High School. We are all very proud of her."
