Prenuptial parties honor Pugh-Hardin

Erin Pugh of Huntsville and Christopher Hardin of Gadsden have been honored at several recent events.

Kitchen and Recipe Shower

The Christian Life Center of the First United Methodist Church of Jackson was the setting on Saturday, May 3, for a kitchen and recipe shower honoring Erin Pugh, bride-elect of Christopher Hardin.

Hosting the event were Carol Goolsby of Jackson, Joy Dees of Cleveland, Tenn., Brandi Van Dee of Grove Hill and Jeanne Powell and Carrie Garris, both of Leroy.

Special guests included Judy Pugh, mother of the bride-elect, along with Miss Pugh's grandmothers, Margie Reid and Faye Pugh, both of Jackson.

Guests were served an array of food and punches. Miss Pugh was presented a microwave oven by the hostesses.

Holiday Shower

On Saturday, May 3, a holiday shower was given in honor of the bride-elect at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Pugh.

She received a variety of holiday dishes, ornaments and decorations.

Guests were served heavy hors d'oeuvres and punch.

Miscellaneous Shower

A miscellaneous shower was given for the prospective bride Feb. 23 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Bridges. Mrs. Bridges, Mrs. Earl Flowers, Mrs. Ralph McVay, Mrs. Sam Sullivan, Mrs. Gene Reynolds, Miss Amy Burge, Mrs. Michael Furr and Mrs. Patrick Harrigan co-hosted the affair.

Special guests included the mother of the bride-elect and her grandmothers; Jeanne Powell and Carrie Garris, Miss Pugh's aunts; and Katie Kizziah and Lyndsey Jolly, bridesmaids.
