Cullman K. Leonard

Cullman K. Leonard, 87, of Malvern, Pa., died May 3, 2008. A native of Jackson, he was the son of the late Minnie and Carlos K. Leonard. He was the husband of Jean Chapman Leonard with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

A WWII veteran of the USAF, he was a graduate of the University of Alabama Class of 1947. Mr. Leonard retired from General Electric after 38 years as an electrical research engineer. He also authored two technical engineering publications and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Kaye (Keith) Tyson of Bear, Del., Cindy (Stephen) Mills of Avondale, Pa. and Ami (Bob) Hill of Burlington, N.C.; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Buff McDonald of Jackson.

Funeral services were May 7 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, Pa. under the direction of Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home of Malvern.
