Annie Howze Law Annie Bell Howze Law, a native of Coffeeville and resident of Denver, Colo., died at the age of 82 on May 3, 2008. She retired after working 29 years for Children's Hospital in Denver. Her parents, Mary and Miller Howze; five sisters, Ida Burrough, Mattie Horn, Gladys Lee, Alice Chapman and Thelma Scuggs; and three brothers, Miller Howze Jr., Williams Howze and Cleveland Howze, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Dorska Lee Law of Denver; three daughters, Augustine (Clyde) Truedale, Darlene Law and Denise Pender Law, all of Denver; five sons, Travis (Bonnie) Law of Aurora, Colo., Leon Law, Darrell Law, Donny Law and Derrick Law, all of Denver; two sisters, Viola (Richard) Jordan of Montgomery and Mary L. Cox of Atlanta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were May 13 at the Union Baptist Church of Coffeeville. Interment was in the Howze & Thornton Cemetery in Coffeeville with Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
