Annie Pearl Howard Annie Pearl Howard, died at her residence in Tibbie at the age of 81, May 9, 2008. A native of Wagarville, she was a homemaker, a volunteer with the Chatom Nutrition Center, a member of the Fairhope Baptist Church in Chatom and the Order of The Eastern Star. Lawrence Howard, her husband, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, James Roney of Tibbie and Mike Howard of Chatom; a daughter, Margaret McCulley of Wagarville; one sister, Stella Howard of Tibbie; six grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were May 12 at the Fairhope Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements were directed by Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom.
Active pallbearers were Charles Busby, Carl Busby, William Sullivan, Randy Sullivan, Coy Howard and Coma Gene Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers included John Henry Armstrong, Steven Grimes, Ray Savage, Maud Overstreet, Rufus Blount, Marion Ball, Curtis "Sonny" Sullivan, Sandra Mosely, Deanna Godwin, Dana Younge and Debbie Thomas.
