Milstead-Larrimore feted at numerous gatherings

Bride-elect Chelsea Milstead and groom-elect Ben Larrimore have been honored recently with numerous gatherings in anticipation of their wedding.

Miscellaneous Shower

The ladies of the Fulton Baptist Church hosted a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Milstead on April 13, 2008.

Relatives of the bride-elect attending were Mrs. Richard Milstead of Jackson, mother; Mrs. Pete Thornton of Chatom and Mrs. Gillis Milstead of Jackson, grandmothers; Mrs. Stanley Baxter of Chatom, greatgrandmother; Mrs. Donnie Baxter of Millry, aunt; and Mrs. Stephen Ross, cousin.

Family members of the groom-elect included his mother, Mrs. Brad Larrimore of Dickinson; Mrs. Brad Larrimore Jr. of Eufaula, sister-in-law; Mrs. John Moore of Whatley and Mrs. John Larrimore of Dickinson, aunts; and Mrs. Mullins of Dickinson, cousin.

Hawaiian luau

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Duff of Thomasville was the site of a Hawaiian luau honoring the couple, April 19.

Decorations for the gathering included tiki huts, flamingoes, leis and tiki torches.

Special guests included the parents of the couple; Lindsey Milstead, sister of Miss. Milstead; Emily Larrimore, sister of Mr. Larrimore; and Mr. and Mrs. Brad Larrimore Jr., brother and sister-in-law of the prospective groom.

Co-hosting the event with the Duffs were Mr. and Mrs. Matt Dailey, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Dailey, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy McNeece and the Parker family.

Miscellaneous Shower

A miscellaneous shower was conducted at Bob Bowling's lake house on April 20 complimenting Miss Milstead and Mr. Larrimore. Co-hosting the event were Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Bolen, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Doggett and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Furr.

Attending the event were the couple's parents; Mr. and Mrs. Gillis Milstead of Jackson, grandparents of the bride-elect; Mr. and Mrs. David Milstead of Leroy, uncle and aunt of the bride-elect; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Larrimore of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Duff of Thomasville, uncles and aunts of the groom-elect; Mr. Gray Duff of Thomasville, cousin of the groom-elect and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Campbell of Monroeville.

Sit down dinner and

holiday shower

Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and the Fourth of July decorations set the atmosphere for a holiday shower honoring Miss Milstead, April 24, at the home of Carolyn McNider in Fulton.

Kim Averitt, Lillian Beck, Tammy Bedsole, Nancy Brunson, Betty Campbell, Connie Copeland, Diane Davis, Marilyn Fendley, Lesley Graves, Amber McNider and Janet Woodham co-hosted the event.

Mothers of the couple, aunts and the cousin of the groomelect attended the gathering.
