Erica Pezent receives honor

Erica Pezent

Erica Lynne Pezent, a 2005 graduate from the University of Alabama, was recently honored as Employer Alum of the Year by the University's Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration. As an Executive Team Leader for Target's Tuscaloosa location, Pezent was recognized for showing real drive to help students. She led the recruiting effort for Target on campus by engaging faculty, meeting with classes and students, and seeking help and involvement from the career center.

Linda Johnson, director of Employer Development and Relations for the college, presented Erica with a plaque and gift during a Target district meeting in Birmingham. She expressed appreciation for Pezent's continued interest in promoting careers and Target within the college.

Erica is a former resident of Jackson and recently relocated from Tuscaloosa to the Trussville Target location. She is the daughter of Judy Boykin and Warner Pezent, and the granddaughter of Eula Dee Fendley and Aileen Pezent, all of Jackson.
