Leroy High School announces Summer Enrichment Program

Leroy High School has announced its 21st Century D.A.S.H. Summer Enrichment program. Dates are as follows:

June 5-9

"Passport" - Fun art using geography adventures.

Why not spend some of your summer vacation "traveling" to different parts of the world? The class will be visiting countries such as China, Germany, Mexico, Italy and others to learn traditional and not-so-traditional customs and traditions. Students will learn about different cultural expressions and stuff their suitcases with unique projects and souvenirs.

June 12-16

"Pump It Up! Pump It Up!" Get physically fit with parachutes, croquet, action games, hurdles, hoops, hoppers, scooters, archery, cheerleading, water games, slip and slides and more.

Each participant will receive an activity bag.

June 19-23

"Science Extravaganza!" Explore the world through the wonders of science. It will be a fun-filled week of stupendous science. Explore the world of reptiles, bubbles and magnets, learn about electricity while making circuits and building an electrical car. (All materials are provided.)

All classes meet from 8 a.m. through 12 noon. A mid-morning snack is provided free of charge each day to all participants.

Registration for the programs is Tuesday, May 13, 3-5 p.m. in the LHS library media center. The fee for enrollment is $20 per week. There is a limited enrollment of 24 students per session. This program is open to all students in Washington County and Jackson communities.
