Colbert - Coate to wed May 17 in Birmingham
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Virginia B. Noland of Montgomery. She is a graduate of Oviedo High School and Auburn University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and food science and a master's degree in nutrition. She is currently pursuing a doctorate's degree in molecular physiology at Vanderbilt University. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herndon Tartt Coate Sr. of Spanish Fort and the late Mr. and Mrs. Adna Crear Anderson Jr. of Jackson. He is a graduate of Daphne High School and received a bachelor of science degree in forestry from Auburn University. Mr. Coate is currently employed with Whitson Lumber Company of Clarksville, Tenn.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Bluff Park United Methodist Church in Birmingham.
