Jackson Relay For Life 2008 conducted
A total of eight teams had tents set up on the New Era lawn. Teams took their themes from past decades, tying them in with the fight against cancer. Cancer survivors were welcomed during the Survivors Reception. They were presented with words of encouragement by guest speaker and cancer survivor Donald Gartman. His wife, Earnestine is also a cancer survivor.
