Stolen pistol found during traffic stop A Sweet Water man was arrested by McIntosh Police after a gun reported stolen from Thomasville was found in his possession. Tramaine D. Holloway, 22, was charged with second degree receiving stolen property and possession of a pistol without a permit, Saturday, April 19. According to McIntosh Police reports, Officer Brad Singleton stopped the 2003 Chrysler Sebring, driven by Holloway, for not having a license plate. During the stop the officer discovered that Holloway had a suspended driver's license and no proof of insurance on the vehicle. During a search of the driver, Officer Singleton found a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol. A check of the weapon found it to be reported stolen from Thomasville. Thomasville Police were contacted and they confirmed the weapon was stolen. Holloway also consented to a search of the vehicle. With the assistance of Lt. Charles Koger, the other two occupants, Antonio Ausbon, 18, and Gary Watkins, 24, both of Dixons Mills, were instructed to exit the automobile.
