Women Crusaders for Christ to host luncheon

A pre-mother's day luncheon will be hosted by the Women Crusaders for Christ Sunday, May 4, 3 p.m. at the Little Pigs Bar- B-Que on College Avenue in Jackson. The luncheon will be served buffet style. Admission for all mothers age 60 years and over is $5; mothers under the age of 60 and general admission, $10.

Those attending may register for door prizes at the door. Also, many beautiful Mother's Day gift baskets will be given away. For additional information call the Rev. Georgia P. Nash, 246-2308.

Youth & Young Adult Day

hosted by Goodwill Missionary

The community is invited to the Annual Youth & Young Adult Day and the Youth Revival Services to be conducted at the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Bladon Springs on Sunday, May 4 at 2 p.m. Elder Christopher Smith, along with his choir and congregation of the A.O.H. Church of God in Christ in Leroy, will be the guest speaker and special guests.

Rev. Howell is evangelist at youth revival

Pastor Charlie J. White and the Friendship Baptist Church of Leroy invite everyone to their Youth Day Sunday, April 27 at 3 p.m. The youth revival will be Monday through Wednesday at 7:30 nightly.

The Rev. Keith Howell, pastor of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Laurel, Miss., will be the guest speaker Sunday and revival evangelist.

Spencer Chapel hosts Women's Day

Spencer Chapel AMEC located at North East Main and Church Street in Fulton will host its annual Women's Day program Sunday, April 27 at 11:30 a.m. The speaker will be Minister Rosalind Myles of Mobile. Presiding elder W.T. Lesueur is the pastor.

Antioch A.M.E. hosts gospel jubilee

The Rev. Wilson Gibby will be the guest speaker at the annual gospel jubilee hosted by Antioch A.M.E. Church, Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m.

Bro. Eddie L. Robinson will preside at the musical hour. Each choir and group participating are asked to sing an A&B selection said Pastor Robert Taylor.

MaHarreys to sing at Seven Oaks

The MaHarreys will be singing at Seven Oaks Baptist Church on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served at 5:30, with the singing beginning promptly at 7.

The church is located 10 miles west of Chatom and 3 miles east of Highway 45. Everyone is invited to attend. A love offering will be taken. For additional information call (251) 847-3475.

James Chapel announces upcoming events

The annual Men & Women's Day at James Chapel Baptist Church in St. Stephens will be celebrated April 27 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Hurd presiding.

Spring revival will be Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 2 at 7 nightly. Bishop Ronnie Moten will be the evangelist.

T.L. Douglas honored by Mackey Branch No. 1

Mackey Branch No. 1 Baptist Church of Gosport will honor Pastor T.L. Douglas in 18th Year Appreciation Services, Sunday, April 27, 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Kenneth Kidd.

Maharreys to perform April 27

Sunday, April 27 at 5 p.m., there will be a singing featuring the Maharreys at the St. Stephens First Baptist Church. Pastor David Albritton invites all to attend.

Mt. Gilead celebrates Men and Women's Day

Men and Women's Day will be celebrated at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Carlton April 27. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Hurley James of St. Paul's Baptist Church in Salitpa. The Rev. Lee Bush is church pastor and invites everyone to attend. The program will begin at 3 p.m.
