Frankville VFD to host First Responder Course

The Frankville Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a 40-hour First Responder Course, April 22 - June 12

Classes will be conducted once a week in the evenings. There will be approximately nine classes, including workbook classroom studies with power point and three all day field classes on three different Saturdays .

This course will be conducted by Scott Flash EMT-P operations supervisor/instructor for Jets Ambulance Service. Anyone interested in participating contact Chief Worth Schultz at (251) 754-9254 or Nancy Stewart at (251) 846-3590. Registration must be made prior to April 22.

In addition, May 6, in Frankville at 7 p.m., there will be a three-hour night course with LifeFlight Helicopter Service. All firemen and potential firefighters are invited to participate. If time allows, those who wish, may be able to ride in the chopper.

There is a fee involved and books need to be ordered for those joining the course. Immediate response for registration is requested.
